I saw today on Facebook that Madeline returned to Seattle and has a new family. It looks like a wonderful situation and I couldn't be happier for her. She grew up to be a beautiful dog. Lyn brought home a Christmas card from a Christmas craft fair at the Meeting House today that had Madeline's picture on it when she was about six months old. It was nice remembrance from a circle of people who were fond of Madeline.
Yumi is still wonderful. She is 16 weeks old and is growing like a weed. This is final exam week, and once this horrible week is over, I'll return to this blog with something a little more susbtantial about Yumi and her development.

I'm so glad you were able to find Madeline's whereabouts. It seems like it would make such a huge difference, to be able to visualize where she is. Good luck with finals!
